Why do cheap carpet cleaning specials cost more on the day?
Most low advertised prices in this market are honest about one thing only: the asterisk. A multi-room special usually caps each room at around 12 m² — smaller than most living rooms — and is "subject to condition", which means heavily soiled areas, stains and odours are re-quoted once the cleaner is standing in your hallway. A minimum call-out that never appeared in the ad shows up at booking. None of that is illegal; it just means the advertised number and the invoice are different documents.
We publish the whole list instead. The rates above are the rates, GST included, and the only additions that exist are printed beside them — the $50 apartment-or-distance surcharge and the charged extras like set-in pet urine treatment, all quoted before the work starts.
